India Isaac

India Isaac is the Principal of Razzamataz Torbay. Before taking on the role of Principal, she worked at Razzamataz Torbay as the drama teacher for ten years, learning all about the business and the opportunities offered to the students of the school.

India has a degree in Drama Studies and has many years experience teaching drama in mainstream and non-mainstream schools, for the local council and for theatre schools. As well as teaching, she also has professional performance experience including touring theatre, devising theatre and interactive theatre.

Alongside India’s experience in theatre and acting, she has also worked in events for many years. Producing entertainment for companies such as Warner Brothers, BT and Railevents.

 

 

 

Lisa

Dance & Tots Teacher

Lisa has been dancing in the styles of musical theatre, contemporary and ballet since she was young. After gaining her dance degree she performed in contemporary dance companies and got to work with some incredible people around the world including; Candoco Dance Company, Rick Nodine and Liz Aggis.
Lisa began teaching at Razzamataz 7 years ago, and has loved every minute! Alongside Razzamataz she has experience working with special needs and vulnerable children. She has since gone on to become a personal trainer to combine her skills and passion of dance and fitness.

Favourite Musical: Calamity Jane. (After watching it over and over since a young age and never tiring of it - plus she's a little in love with Howard Keel!)

Best Razzamataz Memory: Taking the children to London to perform their James Bond routine on the West end stage!

Camille

Vocal Coach

Camille started with Razzamataz Torbay in 2014 as a teaching assistant and covered all three disciplines of theatre school alongside teaching staff. Her love of singing got noticed and after signing up with a personal Opera and Musical Theatre Vocal Coach I became part of the teaching team in late 2018.

Camille has a social care background with secondary school children and vulnerable adults achieving my Diploma Level 5 management for Childen, young people and the elderly vulnerable in 2014.

Camille's aim is to teach the discipline and correct techniques from a young age to find that beautiful clear musical theatre voice we all strive for!

She is part of a national choir where she regularly performs at events in and around the bay perhaps the best one so far is performing at the BBC Proms in the Park in 2019!

Favourite Musical: Grease

Best Razzamataz Memory: Doing karate kata with the kids on stage at Princess theatre.

Keshia

Dance Teacher

Keshia have been teaching at Razzamataz for nearly 4 years now and loves every minute of it.

She has been dancing since the age of two and is qualified in all genres of dance, but with a special passion and skill in street dance.

She studied musical theatre at Studios La Pointe in Leeds. After graduating she has danced and performed all over the world.

She is now settled in Torbay with her two gorgeous children but regularly gigs locally and works as a choreographer for local shows and companies.

Keira

Minis and Drama Teacher

Keira joined the Razzamataz Torbay team as a teaching assistant in September 2021 and after some arm twisting we have persuaded her to take on some more teaching work!

She gained a 1st class honours at the University of South Wales studying Theatre and Drama. Keira has additionally gained her PGCE in Secondary Education Drama with QTS and is now teaching drama at a local secondary school.

Keira is also a regular on the stage, performing with PPP and TOADS at the Princess and Palace Theatre.

Courtney

Minis and Performing Arts Teacher

Courtney has recently graduated from De Montfort University with a degree in Dance. She is currently teaching dance at a local secondary school in the week but loving her Saturday’s at Razzamataz. After graduating university, Courtney got to work with many exciting dance companies such as ‘Moving Together’, where she got to work across multiple countries. She is excited to teach at Razzmatazz and bring her passion for Performing Arts to the Torbay students.

Cerys

Cover Teacher

Cerys was a student at Razzamataz Torbay for eight years, before graduating the school in July 2021.

In that time she took on many lead roles including Elphaba in Wicked, Paulette in Legally Blonde and the evil queen in Saving Symphonia.

Cerys has recently graduated from the Razzamataz Training Academy and is now one of Drama Teachers.

Cerys is very excited to be back at Razzamataz, although already knows she will be very jealous not to be on the stage come showtime!

Anne-Marie

Classroom Assistant and Front of House Manager

Anne-Marie has worked with children for many years, primarily in her position as a Nursery Nurse and as a Nursery Manager.

Although not a fan of performing herself, she has lots of experience helping backstage at shows and with helping to put the shows together.

Anne-Marie also helps with administration tasks throughout the week and makes sure the front desk runs smoothly every Saturday morning!

Bradley

Drama Teacher & Classroom Assistant

Bradley was a student at Razzamataz Torbay for eight years before he graduated and trained at to be a classroom assistant during our 2022 summer schools. Since joining the team, Bradley has completed his Razzamataz Teacher Training course and has now taken on teaching some of our Drama classes.

He is very passionate about musical theatre and the performing arts, and is excited to be continuing at Razz Torbay helping the younger students to build their talent and passion!

Mollie

Tots and Classroom Assistant

Bradley was a student at Razzamataz Torbay for seven years before he graduated and trained at to be a classroom assistant during our 2022 summer schools.

Mollie is a very talented vocalist, which she showcased over her many years at Razz Torbay. Mollie is looking forward to working with the younger students, whilst still getting to enjoy all the fun of Razz!
